Hello, I’m Helen and I am the founder and principal of SOMA BATH INC.

As a young girl, I was exposed to fashion, pop culture and design by my mother and her sisters. They quickly became my mentors.  My passion and love for travel, art history, architecture, textiles and antiques, led me to pursue a career in design.  I began my journey with a clear and strong understanding in figuring out the mechanics and construction behind design and making visions become a reality. 

I believe in connecting with the people I work with, really listen to them and build strong relationships.  Understanding their unique style is key to achieving success with every project.

In 1994, I graduated from the Interior Design Program at Sheridan College and shortly after, I was on my first job site.  Since then, projects have ranged from small rooms to large scale commercial projects, but now, I have decided to change my focus on one very important room in the house.  It is the first room we go to when we wake up in the morning and the last room we visit, before we go to sleep at night.  It is also the room where many people hide out to be alone and get some privacy, or the room we go to, to make ourselves look fabulous!  

This one room combines all the “nerve endings” of the house with fabulous fixtures, flowing water, stylish tile, stone, glass, power and light, electrical gadgets, innovative storage solutions, technology and of course, that added touch of beauty and interest to help create that feeling of being in your most favorite room of the house.   All the elements I love, that drive and compel me everyday, to create beautiful bathrooms.
